Community Outreach Research Coordinator Jobs

PhD in psychology, public health, education, social work, health economics, or related fields

Strong leadership and personnel supervision skills

Strong quantitative, mixed-methods, or qualitative research skills

Ability to lead, design, and facilitate community-engaged research initiatives

Assist with the management of support staff including assistantships, interns and/or ambassadors

Assist with the management of Community Outreach sub-committees

Bachelor’s degree in related field required plus two to three (2-3) years of community outreach and/or event experience

Exceptional verbal & written communication skills, organizational skills and ability to multitask

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Coordinate the day-to-day administrative operations of Community Outreach Dept. I.e. Budgets, Purchase Orders, Contributions, Scheduling Meetings

Support relationship management and regularly communicate with partners and support their participation in a Community Advisory Board when needed.

Developing and testing cancer education materials and messages

Exceptional knowledge of and familiarity with Antelope Valley communities including the African American community spaces and organizations in the area.

Background in health education, community outreach and social determinants of health.

Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Knowledge of education principles including human behavior and behavior modification techniques and presentation methods.

Skill in developing and presenting patient/staff/community education workshops.

Experience: 2-3 years’ experience in pediatrics

Ability to conduct educational programs and to counsel patients and family members.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, physicians, supervisors and other staff.

Ability to do original research and make sound administrative analyses relating to policy and management issues.

Anticipated Hiring Range: $50,722 - $62,896 annually - depending on qualifications

Full Salary Range: $50,722 - $75,069 annually

Team of 4 PIs, 6 clinical research coordinators, 1 data manager, and 2 lab staff.

Experience dealing with LGBTQ populations.

Looking for an individual who has experience with HIV community resources and community-based organizations.

Exceptionally good communication skills both in writing and orally.

Pay Rate: $30/hr on W2.

Need someone who can run a monthly HIV/Community Advisory Board.
