This includes roads, bridges, water systems, sewer systems, drainage systems, and other public works projects. They are responsible for ensuring that all projects meet local, state, and federal regulations, as well as providing technical advice and assistance to city staff, elected officials, and the public. City Engineers must also be knowledgeable of the latest engineering technologies and techniques, and must be able to develop and implement plans for the efficient use of resources. Skills Required
