Business Intelligence Software Engineer Intern Jobs

Work directly with analysts, engineers and stakeholders to understand goals, gather requirements, and develop new data assets

2 years of relevant work experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Technical Operations

Previous experience with web frameworks for Python such as Django/Flask is a plus

Experience writing data pipelines using Airflow preferred

Conduct UAT on new tables

Liaise with data engineers to understand and communicate the impacts of underlying changes in the data and update dependent pipelines

Statistical Analysis. Build relevant analysis and models, including collating insights and add value to develop core strategic hypotheses for the client

Data Visualization Dashboards. Create effective visualizations and user-friendly dashboards to facilitate decision-making

Contribute to the Decision Science and wider Marketing Science team culture and ways of working

Excellent ability to storyboard and craft a presentation in PowerPoint / dashboards

Well versed in scripting languages like Python or R

Partner with internal stakeholders across multiple teams, gathering requirements and delivering end to end solutions

Work with in-house scientists, global supply chain, transportation and logistics teams to identify new BI capabilities and projects

3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience

Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

Experience writing complex SQL queries

1+ years of experience with detailed knowledge of BI data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ELT, and reporting/analytic tools

Experience in gathering requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting

Perform research and data mining across a variety of company data resources to identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience 

1+ years of experience with BI/visualization tools like Tableau/Power BI.

1+ years of work experience in building self-serve BI solutions

5+ years of solid expertise in writing SQL, Relational Database skills, optimizing queries and data structures.

4+ years of BI Development experience in dashboards, analytics, and reporting.

Must have 2+ years of good knowledge on any major BI Tool (Tableau, Sisense, Power BI)

Collaborate with BI and Product team within Agile process to iteratively design and implement dashboards, reports, and extracts.

Assess performance and address issues of the Data sources and Dashboards.

Respond to applications issues in timely manner, Work with the application and product team for the resolution.

Gather and document requirements for analytic and BI solutions

Identify data sources (both internal and external) needed to meet requirements
