Ability to read IATA tickets to determine flight departure times and connecting carriers

Screens all interline passengers prior to placing bags on the interline return belts

Ensures baggage tagging is correct

Two years of experience may be substituted for one year of education:

Desired – We hope you have five (5) years of experience in baggage system maintenance, engineering, operational oversight, or design experience.

Problem Solver – You can effectively use your critical thinking skills to quickly address issues and recommend solutions.

Knowledgeable – You have general knowledge of airline baggage handling processes and the airport operations/maintenance of baggage handling systems.

Safety Requirements – You will be required to comply with all work rules, safety, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
