Provide leadership and mentoring to less experienced estimators

Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field; or related construction experience

Proven experience in risk management, with the ability to identify potential risks and implement effective strategies to mitigate them.

A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Assisting the Project Manager in all phases of project management, from initial planning to completion.

Conducting risk assessments, identifying potential risks, and implementing risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues.

A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Proficiency in construction management software and project management tools.

Performs planning, design, and construction management duties for capital improvement plan projects;

Principles and practices of capital improvement plan budgeting, cost estimation, funding, project and construction management, and contract administration.

Contract management practices in a public agency setting.

Construction management principles and practices, including the strengths of material, properties, and uses of construction materials.

General principles of risk management related to engineering project design and construction.

Perform a diverse range of entry-level engineering tasks in the design and construction management of City Capital Improvement Plan projects.

BS in Construction Management or related construction degree with up to 5 years of commercial construction experience.

Read and understand Construction Design Documents and Specifications.

Log-in and track Contracts & Purchase Orders

Log-in, track and review shop drawings and submittals and respond to Requests for Information

• Assist with ancillary project management tasks

• Manage and send construction documents and plans tovendors, clients and team members

• Manage accounts payable and prepare regular accounting reports

• 3+ years of related experience in real estate

• Professional written and verbal communication skills

• Intake and organize construction bids, insurance documents, lien waivers and invoices from contractors

Manage the construction schedule and coordinate all subcontractors and vendors

Place orders for materials and manage delivery tickets

Manage site visits and inspections by 3rd party consultants (ADA reviews, energy audits, etc)

Pick up any materials needed from Home Depot or other local suppliers

Ensure that all punch list items and resident concerns are addressed in a timely manner

Monitor construction progress and communicate status in a weekly update

Distributes drawing and design revisions, bulletins, to Project Manager, Super and all trades.
