Maintain current knowledge of mental health symptomology, intervention, and treatment strategies.

Work with consumers to develop realistic, measurable, single-outcome therapy objectives to help a consumer reach their goals of recovery and independence.

Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate and provide services based on medical necessity.

Provide in-service and training opportunities to co-workers and service providers in the greater mental health system.

Aid in staff training and crisis intervention services related to psychological or behavioral treatment as indicated.

Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited university

Minimum of two three years of related work experience in Mental Health, and / or Substance Abuse field, preferably both.

CPR Certification, First Aid Certification and an annual Tuberculosis test.

Engages in direct staff hours of service for assigned clients at the rate of 115 hours per month.

Conducts intake assessments/biopsychosocial evaluations for new and existing clients.

Assessments are performed in accordance with the Centers standards, policies and procedures relative to frequency, documentation and timeliness

Develops and maintains a written treatment plan for each client.
