Behavioral Therapist Jobs

General Purpose:
Works as a member of the interdisciplinary mental health team providing care in accordance with the policies and procedures of the contracting employer to mentally impaired or emotionally disturbed patients, under the direct supervision of the nurse or licensed physician.
Essential Functions:

• Treatment Plans
• Evidence based therapeutic interventions to adults with various mental health diagnosis.
• Maintains a safe environment for all individuals
• Completes other assignments as requested and assigned
• Observes and communicates any physical or behavioral changes in the patients condition to supervisor.
• Diagnostic Assessments

Requirements:

• Masters Degree in Social Work
• Licensed as Master's Social Work in the State of Michigan (5 years experience)

OR

• Previous experience in Behavioral Health
• Substance abuse counseling certificate
• Masters Degree in Social Work
