Cooks and prepares menu items according to guest request within company standards and following food safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsible for the back of the house operations in the steakhouse.

Plan and presents in-service education programs for the Dietary Department.

Maintains cost and works to meet budget guidelines.

Plans and assists in preparation and service of holiday and special meals and functions.

Directs and supervises all dietary functions and personnel.

Hires, orients, trains, disciplines, and when appropriate, terminates dietary employees.

Assures that proper storage is available, and that handling of food and supplies complies with current state and federal guidelines.

Must have and maintain BLS Certification or obtain within orientation process, prior to hands-on patient care.

Six (6) months certified phlebotomy experience preferred.

Must have and maintain a California Certified Phlebotomy Technician Certificate.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Shift: 10 Hour Variable - Per Diem

Assist in arranging transportation for residents when necessary including, but not limited to, resident outings, to/from appointments, or for discharge.

Assist with assessment documentation, quarterly progress notes as assigned by the Activity Director.

Provide general administrative and clerical support.

Greet and welcome patients, clients, and other visitors with a friendly and positive demeanor.

Answer telephone calls and take messages or forward calls.

Check visitors in and direct or escort them to specific destinations;

Inform other employees of visitors? arrivals and cancellations.

Maintain visitor sign- in log.

Must have and maintain current BLS certification prior to hands-on patient care

Individuals should have successful completion of orientation to area which assigned.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

1-2 years experience in inventory control, preferably in a mechanical field.

Must have computer experience on PC or mainframe.

Possess good phone and communication skills.

Purchase, establish, maintain parts for stock levels.
