Youth Sports Development Associate Jobs in New York

Oversee GMDM including prospecting, project management, proposal presentation and allocations, family engagement and follow-up

Experience in teen education, engagement, and family programming

The salary for this role is $60,000; commensurate with experience and qualifications listed above.

Excellent relationship building, interpersonal skills, and customer-service orientation

Ability to work collaboratively with a team and to manage multiple tasks

Strong written and verbal communication skills required, as well as active listening skills

Supports staffs’ appropriate use of a youth behavior management system to ensure its consistent application.

Helps schedule and deploy staff and manage coverage, assignments and time/leave.

Develops supervisory skills by attending youth care conferences and training.

Supervises, mentors, coaches, and monitors the performance of Youth Development Specialists in all aspects of their work.

Guides staff in their work with youth gangs, and in anti-bullying and violence reduction efforts.

Works as part of an interdisciplinary team; promotes a safe and nurturing environment for the residential units supervised.
