Six months' experience in narrative report writing.

Intermediate computer skills required (Windows, Word, Excel); prior computer experience using sales data/call reporting software ideal

Develop and maintain a mastery of product knowledge and consultative promotion techniques

Analyze impact of managed care in the territory and its effect on prescribing decisions, and modify customer engagement and sales strategies

Effectively manage and prioritize time and available resources to achieve maximum sales in the local territory

Effectively manage and prioritize time to ensure maximum customer penetration and sales volume with limited supervision

Exercise prudent control over samples and other company property in accordance with company policies and procedures and legal requirements

Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals, including clients, co-workers, management staff, and identified community partners.

Previous relevant experience and familiarity with applicable resources preferred.

Provides emergency first-aid, as needed, and must have and maintain standard first-aid/CPR certification.

Preference may be extended to current employees of Janus Youth Programs, Inc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS for Youth Care Specialist I

Observes youth's behavior and adjustment to programs and exchanges written and oral reports on those observations with other staff daily.

Establishes and maintains interpersonal relationships with youth to encourage and assist with their social adjustment.

Interprets and teaches facility procedures, rules, and disciplinary policies to youths.

Ability to effectively monitor safety and demonstrate group management skills and effectively de-escalate potentially chaotic or volatile situations.

Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with a broad variety of people, including staff, supervisors and management.

Provides emergency first-aid, as needed, and must have and maintain standard first-aid/CPR certification.
