Overview A Yard Man is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of a yard or grounds. The Yard Man may also be responsible for the maintenance of outdoor structures such as fences, decks, and patios. Detailed Job Description The Yard Man is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of a yard or grounds. This includes mowing, trimming, fertilizing, and watering the lawn, as well as performing general landscaping tasks such as planting, weeding, and pruning. The Yard Man may also be responsible for the maintenance of outdoor structures such as fences, decks, and patios. The Yard Man may also be responsible for the installation of new landscaping features such as trees, shrubs, and flowers. The Yard Man may also be responsible for the maintenance of outdoor lighting and irrigation systems. Job Skills Required

• Knowledge of landscaping and gardening techniques

• Ability to operate lawn mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping equipment

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in landscaping or gardening

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to pass a background check
