They will also gain experience in cellar operations, including sanitation, blending, and barrel aging.

Detailed Job Description:

Winery Operator Apprenticeship is a program designed to provide individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a winery operator. Apprentices will learn the fundamentals of winemaking, including grape growing, harvesting, fermentation, bottling, and storage. They will also gain experience in cellar operations, including sanitation, blending, and barrel aging. Apprentices will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the winery, including the production of wine, maintenance of equipment, and customer service.
