Part-Time Nurse - Immunization Clinics (On-Call)

Experience and confidence providing injections to children and adults of all ages.
Prepare, explain and administer appropriate travel immunization plans for field personnel, their children, staff and trustees.
Provide excellent customer service while overseeing timely and confidential communication to all patients served.
Attend and participate in preparation and debriefing for clinics to ensure safe and quality patient care and follow up.
Active RN license in Virginia.
Readiness to work in a busy nurse-team environment.

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of infection control procedures

• Administer immunizations and other wellness services
• Provide patient education on immunization and wellness topics
• Maintain accurate records of immunizations and other services
• Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up care
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Provide support to other healthcare staff as needed
