Welder Senior Jobs

Valid 6G certification (American Welding Society).

Grade 19 - Starting hourly rate: $29.2658. Rate of pay depends on qualifications.

Leading team to plan and execute welding projects that may take several weeks to complete.

Performs preventive inspections as well as ensures accurate diagnosis and effective repair and/or replacement.

Performs a variety of journey level fabrication and repair welding on mechanized equipment, structures, buildings, or heavy equipment.

Inspecting welds to ensure they meet industry standards for quality.

Knowledge of different types and sizes of pipe, structural and vessel materials

Minimum of 3 years of related experience

Certification to weld on pipe or plate

Uses metal core mig, tig, fluxcore sub-arc or stick welding process (must pass three or more)

Ability to pass applicable test(s) and applicable Non Destructive Exam

Quality x-ray and ultrasound test welds with minimum rework
