Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Evaluates residents’ status and unit activities at the beginning of the shift
Monitors direct care activities to assure that practices are consistent with evidence-based practices and facility policies and procedures
Recommends hires and promotions, directs and evaluates employment decisions for all assigned positions
Conducts environmental rounds, inspects the environment, identifies and reports environmental conditions that are deficit or present a risk to appropriate department
Actively participates in nursing leadership initiatives including IDPH survey readiness and assists with implementation and evaluation of action plans

Overview The Weekend Nursing Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff on weekends. This position is responsible for ensuring that the highest quality of patient care is provided and that the nursing staff is following all policies and procedures. Detailed Job Description The Weekend Nursing Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff on weekends. This position is responsible for ensuring that the highest quality of patient care is provided and that the nursing staff is following all policies and procedures. The Weekend Nursing Supervisor will also be responsible for monitoring patient care, providing feedback to staff, and resolving any issues that may arise. Job Skills Required

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
• Current RN license in the state of practice
• At least 3 years of nursing experience
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience
