Follows standard safety procedures, corrects safety and environmental hazards and reports them to management immediately.
Experience: No prior work experience required.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Fill in for other positions (Hazardous Cell Mapper, Hazardous Waste Material Sampler) when required.
Monitors alarms, panel board, bar graphs, and motorized valves on each FO39 leachate tank daily.
Inspects all hoses, valves, pumps, cracks in floors, containment walls, and drip pans daily.

Overview Waste Handlers are responsible for the safe and efficient handling of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials. They are responsible for the collection, storage, transportation, and disposal of waste materials in accordance with applicable regulations and safety standards. Waste Handlers must be knowledgeable of the various types of waste materials, their properties, and the proper handling and disposal methods. Detailed Job Description Waste Handlers are responsible for the safe and efficient handling of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials. They must be knowledgeable of the various types of waste materials, their properties, and the proper handling and disposal methods. Waste Handlers must be able to identify hazardous materials and take appropriate safety precautions when handling them. They must also be able to properly store and transport waste materials in accordance with applicable regulations and safety standards. Waste Handlers must be able to operate a variety of equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other waste handling equipment. They must also be able to properly document the collection, storage, transportation, and disposal of waste materials. Job Skills Required
