Overview A Warranty Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products are designed and manufactured to meet customer expectations and comply with applicable regulations. They are responsible for developing and implementing warranty policies and procedures, and for monitoring and analyzing warranty performance. Detailed Job Description A Warranty Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing warranty policies and procedures, and for monitoring and analyzing warranty performance. They must ensure that products are designed and manufactured to meet customer expectations and comply with applicable regulations. They must also investigate and analyze warranty claims, and provide technical support to customers and other departments. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of product design and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of warranty policies and procedures
• Knowledge of applicable regulations
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in product design and/or manufacturing
• 5+ years of experience in warranty management
• Knowledge of applicable regulations
• Certification in warranty management (preferred)
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of product design and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of warranty policies and procedures
• Knowledge of applicable regulations
• Knowledge of quality assurance and control processes
• Knowledge of customer service principles
Job Experience
• 5+ years of experience in product design and/or manufacturing
• 5+ years of experience in warranty management
• Experience in customer service
• Experience in quality assurance and control
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and implement warranty policies and procedures
• Monitor and analyze warranty performance
• Investigate and analyze warranty claims
• Provide technical support to customers and other departments
• Ensure products are designed and manufactured to meet customer expectations and comply with applicable regulations
• Ensure customer satisfaction with warranty services
• Maintain records of warranty claims and repairs
• Prepare reports on warranty performance and customer feedback
