What is VMware and Windows Engineer Job Skills Required?

• Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, including Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019

• Knowledge of VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and other virtualization technologies

• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other Windows Server technologies

• Knowledge of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching

• Knowledge of storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, and iSCSI

• Knowledge of scripting languages, such as PowerShell, VBScript, and Bash

• Knowledge of system security best practices

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

What is VMware and Windows Engineer Job Qualifications?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in a Windows Server and VMware environment

• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification

• Experience with system automation and scripting

• Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning
