Urban Outfitters Assistant Web Merchandiser Jobs

Education – Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Information Technology, or Graphic Design or equivalent work experience, plus

Experience – 3+ years of experience in web design and communications in a corporate environment

Excellent oral and written communications skills required to effectively interact successfully with a diverse group of individuals from various departments.

Highly proficient in computer applications and web-based analytical tools such as Google Analytics. Big Commerce experience a plus.

On set experience, leading and directing a team.

Understanding of styling and fashion photography, including knowledge of relevant industry talent, along with an understanding of hair and makeup trends.

Strong interpersonal skills needed to develop partnerships throughout the organization

Entry level technical knowledge of apparel construction

Entry -level knowledge of fabric and trims as well as strong relationships with resources

Some knowledge of fabric treatments as well as wash and dye techniques

Some knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes

Professionally communicate via email and in person with outside vendors, design, production and buying team members.

Excellent organizational, time management, communication, and detail-oriented skills

Buying knowledge and styling experience is a plus

Weekly marketing product tracking and data entry

Daily site maintenance to ensure best online customer experience

Excellent communication skills, collaborative and strong verbal etiquette

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
