? Teacher certificate in secondary education, Demonstrated teaching skills and experience

? Experience working with special education populations is a plus, Certificate in Special

? Partakes in off-site experiential trips which may include an overnight experience.

? Excellent oral, written, and organizational skills

? Teaches multiple sections of science courses primarily to grades 10-12.

? Plans for unique, project-based, and student-centered learning.

Challenges students to develop communication, critical thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills to prepare them for college and active citizenship.

Teaches respect for self, others, and the environment through hands-on experiences, collaboration, and diversity of thought and culture.

Comfort or experience with a decolonized and critical approach to history and/or literature.

Experience supporting an intentionally diverse, equitable, and inclusive community.

Knowledge of project-based learning (PBL) as a teaching methodology.

Experience with differentiation, providing supports for students across the academic spectrum.
