Treatment Foster Care Case Worker Jobs

Must possess a least six months experience working with children and/or families; work experience with children who have special needs preferred.

Complete all reports and other required paperwork in a timely manner and according to program guidelines

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Help keep center orderly by sharing cleaning responsibilities and duties.

Review and plans classroom experiences and routines with teacher assistant.

Bachelor's Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education from an accredited institution of higher education; AND

One-year work/volunteer pre-school teaching experience; AND

Meet and maintain KCAO hiring requirements which include:

Provides transportation to and from parent-child visitation, counseling, and other services.

Responsible for providing case management services to children and families in the foster care system.

Educational advocacy authorization of services

Provision of permanency testimony in family court

Maintenance of client record permanency

Planning up to and including adoption planning

Complete Medicaid case management billing for all approved individuals.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with standard office equipment and computer programs/applications including Microsoft Suite and Excel.

Use Placement/Matching protocol in the event assistant is needed for placement by the Program Manager.

Ability to manage multiple projects and various deadlines simultaneously.

Possess strong organizational skills and understand the importance of details.

Ability to handle and manage crisis situations appropriately.
