Overview A Traveling Electrician Apprentice is a skilled tradesperson who assists experienced electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. They are responsible for learning the trade and gaining the necessary experience to become a fully qualified electrician. Detailed Job Description Traveling Electrician Apprentices are responsible for assisting experienced electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This includes wiring, troubleshooting, and testing electrical systems, as well as installing and repairing electrical components. They must be able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams, and be familiar with the National Electrical Code. They must also be able to use a variety of hand and power tools, as well as safety equipment. Job Skill Requirements Traveling Electrician Apprentices must have a strong knowledge of electrical systems and components, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams. They must also have the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, as well as safety equipment. They must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and must be able to follow instructions and safety protocols.
