Eligible for ASCP Histology registry/equivalent training and experience required
Sets up tissue processor in predetermined sequence in accordance with established Department procedures
Replaces chemicals on a regular basis in accordance with established Department procedures
Sets instruments for defined timing sequence as observed by actual time out in the A.M. in accordance with established Department procedures
Cuts, mounts, stains and labels slides and matches to corresponding requisition form
Records temperature on tissue processor on a daily basis
