Tire Technician Part Time Jobs in New York

Must keep current with all State and Federal requirements as related to conditions of employment

Perform all store clerk duties as needed

Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position

Assist in the Triaging of incoming prescriptions

Assess the workload, establish the prescription pick up time and queue the prescription for processing

Assist in the delivery of prescriptions to the patient, including obtaining patient signatures

B Level qualifications including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair

2+ years of Service Technician experience

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions.

Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices.

Mandatory GM training to stay up to date on all the latest makes and model repairs

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational classes as required, and reviewing technical bulletins.

The technician is expected to be available for work M-F with regional/national travel requirement

3-5+ years’ experience in the repair, maintenance, and installation of medical diagnostic equipment used in a laboratory setting.

Previous experience as a biomedical technician in health care facilities required

Experience with urine analyzers preferred

While the technician will be part of a larger national team, he or she must be comfortable working and traveling independently

Licensing: Current state certification, licensure or license eligible in states where applicable

Maintenance of current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for HealthCare Workers or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification for HealthCare workers

Health Requirements In good health and able to work without restrictions as evidenced by Health Statement

Use of non-invasive procedures to examine heart valves, chambers and blood vessels to produce images known as echocardiograms (ECGs)

Obtains patient history, explains procedures to patient, addresses patients' concerns, and follows established pre-screening policy and procedure

Determines appropriate methodology and techniques to use; arranges immobilization and/or support devices for proper patient positioning; selects appropriate imaging device

Have a previous understanding of tire knowledge

Diesel equipment and vehicle knowledge must be broad (ex., tractors, trailers, reefers, lift gates, etc.)

We offer 24 hour a day roadside service for commercial truck & trailer repair needs.

The ability to diagnose & troubleshoot repairs as needed for clients

Be able to demount and mount tires

Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned on your own or as a team
