Expert mechanical abilities in small engine, diesel, and hydraulic systems.

Provide high-quality repair services on all work orders.

Initiate outstanding sales and service on all work orders.

Ensure exceptional safety of equipment & tools as well as cleanliness of the shop.

Responsible for completing all warranty paperwork in a timely manner.

Attends training, workshops, meetings, etc., as appropriate to maintain or enhance job knowledge and skills; and

One (1) year of relevant prior experience;

Knowledge of basic addition and subtraction, such as making change or measuring;

Ability to perform skilled work involving rules/systems with almost constant problem-solving;

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK:

Diagnoses and performs mechanical repair work on automobiles, trucks and small engines and other specialized equipment.

Maintains tires in compliance with Waste Management Total Tire Maintenance standards.

Employee should have basic math skills and the ability to count and keep track of inventory.

The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and under-car repair services needed

Order parts inventory and tires as needed to preform repairs; manage parts inventory by returning parts before they become obsolete.

The General Manager is directly responsible for producing and maintaining a positive and conducive environment for both customers and employees

Communicate safety and mechanical issues to the store manager to relate to the customer

Compensation in the $90,000 - $100,000 based on experience and track record.

Supervises all functions of service department personnel and activities

Minimum 2 years heavy-duty tire mechanic experience

Replacement for Brian Badillo who was promoted to Trailer Trainee Tech.

Operates a company service truck to repair tires outside our maintenance facility

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Wave and display signs to attract attention to our Mattress Xperts store locations.

Engage with passersby and create a positive and friendly atmosphere.

Direct potential customers towards our stores.

Maintain a professional and presentable appearance while representing Mattress Xperts.

Ability to work independently waving or spinning display signs to attract attention.

May operate equipment such as: forklifts, cranes, small mobile equipment, and impact guns

Responsible for maintaining work orders, a clean and safe work area and performing work area inspections

May perform hot tire replacement and follows hot tire safety procedures

Perform other duties as required
