Test Prep Curriculum Director Jobs in New York

Bachelor’s degree in education, or a related subject area

Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students in a teaching or tutoring capacity

In-depth knowledge in at least one core subject area

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Building educational software by mapping content to standards and lessons, building content classifications, and sequencing lessons

Providing feedback and guidance on educational software to ensure it's student-friendly and leverages best practices in education design

Teaching groups of students; our educational software does the teaching and you'll be building the content it uses

Developing educational software that prepares students to excel on the SAT & ACT exams

Experience tutoring SAT, PSAT, and/or SSAT test prep strategies for at least 15 hrs/wk

Test Prep Tutor Key Responsibilities

You have 3 years of experience with SAT test prep (or similar experience)

You support Yleana’s mission to decrease the opportunity gap and improve the quality of education for students in need of support

You are comfortable working and collaborating both in-person and remotely

You have experience designing and leading projects

You have experience developing curriculum that aligns to common core standards

Provide training and professional development to teachers both within and outside of the organization
