Test Development Engineer Jobs

1+ years of experience with testing, mechanical or data acquisition and control system design (internships and college competition team count)

Experience in project ownership under technical and schedule pressure and where the scope and definition were limited

Experience testing and operating with or around hazardous systems (high pressure, high energy, hazardous gases and fluids, etc.)

Design, modify, and build mechanical systems. Systems include small lugs and brackets through large structural weldments.

Develop and maintain test procedures, sequences, scripts, configuration files, and software.

Operate the test stand from test assembly and activation through test execution with a small team of engineers and technicians.

Excellent organization, time management and communication skills

Experience with and/or knowledge of curriculum standards and classroom assessment

Bachelor's degree in education or a related field

One or two years of teaching experience is a plus (not required)

Measurement and statistics in large-scale surveys

Perform quality control reviews of frameworks, reading assessment items and item delivery platform integration

Knowledge and experience in any of these programming languages: Python, LabVIEW, VB.net (or) similar

Experience with software version control and multi-user developer environment

Experience in test automation (motion, vision, test equipment control, data acquisition)

Experience testing and automating secure REST APIs testing.

Expertise with hands-on scripting/coding experience in any automation testing tools (Selenium/Appium), Cucumber Framework, Pytest, TestNG, mocha/chai, nightwatchJS or CypressJS,Playwright.

Advanced working knowledge of Python software programming languages. Knowledge of C, C++.

Minimum of 3 years related experience in automated test development with Python programming.

Related experience in the use of DevOps tools, Git, BitBucket, BitBucket Pipelines, Containers, etc.

Experience in test development of embedded systems a plus.

Possess direct knowledge of the Contract Manufacturing process and control experience is a great plus.

Personally write the test code or manage someone who is writing the test code

Self-motivated, willing to manage day-to-day tasks with minimal direct supervision

Desired Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering 3+ Years’ Experience or equivalent.

Blend hardware, software, and systems architecture knowledge to develop software modules to test Cisco products.

Knowledge of applied statistics, analytics, and data visualization tools is a plus.
