Telecom OSP Field Engineers are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of outside plant (OSP) telecommunications equipment. They work in the field, often in remote locations, to ensure that all OSP equipment is functioning properly and meets the needs of the customer.

Detailed Job Description:

Telecom OSP Field Engineers are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of outside plant (OSP) telecommunications equipment. This includes fiber optic cables, copper cables, and other OSP equipment. They must be able to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics in order to properly install and maintain the equipment. They must also be able to troubleshoot and diagnose any issues with the equipment. They must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and be able to lift and carry heavy equipment.
