High School degree or equivalent required. Graduation from an approved and accredited radiology educational program required.

Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.

2 years of General CT Radiography experience

Effective listening skills are required in order to follow oral instructions properly.

Under general supervision, performs routine and specialized CT imaging procedures.

Documents accurate patient care activity in various electronic health records systems.

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiography (R) (CT)

Knowledge of healthcare regulations and preventative measures (HIPAA confidentiality, infection spread, etc.)

Promptly completes patient exams, questionnaires, and testing in order to ensure smooth daily operations and coordination of care

Deliveries direct patient care to patients including scans and venipuncture as assigned with tact, discretion and professionalism

Preps room to ensure that equipment is operable and that those supplies are ready

Checks referral for appropriate study and contacts referring the physician to clarify if needed

Follows CMI X-Ray protocols on conducting a scan and consults Radiologist when necessary

Knowledge of customer focused service requirements of the organization.

Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

Controls & adjusts CT equipment to assure that images meet requirements.

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

Demonstrates good oral & written communication skills.
