Ct Technologist Per Diem Jobs in Nevada

Graduate of an AMA / JRCERT Accredited School of Radiography, ARRT Certification (RT)

Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

One year of current CT experience in a hospital environment

Minimum two (2) years recent (within the past five (5) years) acute care surgical tech experience

Two (2) year's operating room heart experience or four (4) years major vascular experience

Education, Certification, Computer and Training Requirements:

Manages technical staff to provide adequate department coverage within approved department budget.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

Ability to use problem solving, critical thinking and priority setting skills required.

Experience with Standard Office Equipment (Phone, Fax, Copy Machine, Scanner, Email/Voice Mail) preferred.

Experience with Standard Office Technology in a Window based environment preferred.

PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO APPLICANTS WHO DOCUMENT THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:

B) Operating Room Hospital imaging experience;

C) Trauma and Peds imaging experience.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Experience working with GE equipment

Experience with Cardiac and MRA's (Magnetic Resonance Angiography)

2 years of MRI experience OR successful completion of Hospital-sponsored training program

New York State Licensed X-Ray Technologist

Registered X-ray Technologist from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Graduation for an accredited school of Ultrasonography

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
