Completion of a one-year school of Electroencephalography preferred. One (1) year experience as in EEG Technologist preferred.

Performs routine EEGs, adult, pediatric, and neonate patients as ordered by the physician.

High school diploma or equivalent.

1. Performs various EEGs, producing acceptable recording in order to evaluate the patient's condition.

2. Performs procedure according to departmental standard of care.; calibrates equipment, makes appropriate markings and head measurement

3. Understands the medical implications for electroencephalography.

Transmit EKGs into the Cardiology Management System.

Edits and confirms EKGs into Cardiology Management System.

One-year EEG school and/or one-year experience in performing EEG’s.

Experience in other non-invasive procedures preferred.
