Entry level sales experience, with a customer focused attitude.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of CRM systems is preferred.

Willingness to undergo negotiation, networking and consultative sales skills

Build and manage relationships with key account stakeholders.

Facilitate building New and Development customers relationships to continue to grow the customer base.

Assign, edit and optimize engaging and well-sourced articles that benefit investors, leveraging IBD’s stock market research and investing principles as appropriate.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent practical experience.

At least five years of experience as a reporter or editor, including some financial journalism and technology coverage.

Excellent writing and editing skills, including headline writing.

Good people and communication skills.

Supervise the technology reporters; provide regular feedback and guidance and track performance.

Extensive management experience, with a track record of developing reporters and writers and collaborating across the newsroom

Extensive experience writing and editing technology coverage for a fast-paced digital news publication

Experience commissioning reporters, and a network of freelance writers and reporters at hand

Experience balancing both breaking news and long-term editorial goals

Extensive knowledge of the technology industry
