Report all pest issues, food safety, general safety and equipment issues to department Supervisor and/or Management.

Experience in cleaning and sanitation, experience working in a restaurant or food production.

Responsible for the daily cleaning of raw and finished goods processing and packaging rooms and equipment.

Handle all cleaning chemicals properly with the proper training.

Pre-soak or rinse machine parts or equipment by immersing objects in cleaning solutions or water, manually.

Turn valves or handles on equipment to regulate pressure and flow of water, air, soap solution, sanitizer solution from sprayer nozzles.

Chemical handling, CIP Sanitation and Janitorial experience preferred

Must manage time responsibly to complete assigned tasks on a regular schedule

People skills and training skills preferred

1 years of experience, food handling is preferred.

Scrub assigned drains for each Hand-Wash station when scheduled. Remove all debris that falls in and around them to prevent overflow.

Assists in the management of Food Safety and Sanitation control activities.

Monitor sanitation activity to ensure all products meets or exceeds required customer and regulatory requirements.

Participate in audits (internal, regulatory, customer, certification, etc.).

3-5 years related experience required preferably in the food industry.

Ability to prioritize and manage tasks.

$ 18.00 to $ 23.00 / hour

Drive corrective actions for sanitation and pest control management.

Utilize technical skills and experience to trouble shoot sanitation, and pest control issues. Drive corrective action responses in the facility.

Support plant internal and 3rd party audits, including SQF, Regulatory, Organic, Military, AMS and Halal certifications

Perform Pre-shipment review of food safety and quality records, when assigned, for compliance to internal and regulatory requirements.

Proven strengths and in-depth knowledge of food safety, sanitation, pest control and Plant manufacturing systems is preferred.

Experience with writing and maintaining quality systems preferred
