They must be able to install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and hardware. They must also be able to diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems. • Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SMTP
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL or Oracle
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of security best practices
