They must be able to install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and hardware. They must also be able to diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems. They must also be able to manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Job Skills Required

• Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SMTP
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL or Oracle
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Knowledge of security best practices
