Survey Technicians are responsible for collecting data and conducting surveys for a variety of purposes. They use specialized equipment to measure and map land, buildings, and other features of the earth’s surface. They also analyze and interpret survey data to create maps and other documents. They may also be responsible for preparing reports and other documents related to the survey. Survey Technicians must be able to work independently and as part of a team. They must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and be able to lift and carry heavy equipment.
