Perform plan preparation of portions of routine projects under the direction of project engineer or senior CADD technician.

    Review and approve the balance of Foremen, journeymen and laborer’s composite labor rates

Experience with Wireshark or similar tools SCADA analytic/monitoring tools

Previous experience working as a SCADA Technician, SCADA Analyst, Instrumentation & Controls Technician, Field Technician, or related roles

Sr. SCADA Tech / SCADA Operations Analyst - Manipulate routers, switches, and network IP as necessary

Sr. SCADA Tech / SCADA Operations Analyst - Monitor and manipulate SCADA and substation communications including DNP3, Harris, and SEL Protocol

Sr. SCADA Tech / SCADA Operations Analyst - Program and write configuration files for SEL RTAC 3530-4 and GE D20 RTU

Sr. SCADA Tech / SCADA Operations Analyst - Utilize Wireshark and/or similar tools to analyze and monitor SCADA network

Working knowledge and experience with AutoCad/Revit

Minimum 2 years of experience

REVIT (2 years of experience is required)

Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering examination

Certified by the State of Texas as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

Work with mechanical team for the design development process

Previous experience creating EPC bid packages for substation projects

Experience with physical substation design is REQUIRED

Previous experience developing cost estimates for project capitalization

Experience with high voltage EPC projects dealing with transmission line (T-line) as well as substation engineering design; preferably 138kV or 345kV

HV Project Engineer / Physical Substation Engineer: Reviews conceptual designs and drawings to verify accurate specifications for substation design

HV Project Engineer / Physical Substation Engineer: Prepares engineering cost estimates and bid packages for greenfield and brownfield substation projects

Previous experience creating EPC bid packages for substation projects

Learn to disassemble malfunctioning instruments or test equipment and examine and test mechanisms and circuitry for defects

Assist with replacement or repair of defective parts, using hand tools

Assist with opening switches or attach grounding devices to remove electrical hazards.

Possess strong a verbal, written, presentation and excellent client management skills

Have project experience with providing engineering design services for traditional municipal, site work, and roadway design projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (ABET Accredited), EIT Certification preferred not required

0-2 years of Design experience

Perform calculations and modeling, assist with developing technical reports, technical exhibits and design drawings.

Develop design plans, design variations and expectations, specifications, cost estimates, and prepare final bid packages.
