Contribute to Hand to Hold’s educational content, training, manuals, curricula, and other writing projects as needed.

Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Program Manager and/or Program Director.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience.

Personal experience with a child in the NICU.

Certification in peer support or willingness to complete certification within the first 90 days of employment.

Experience providing advocacy and support services for families seeking and sustaining support on behalf of a child or youth.

Knowledge of computer systems such as Microsoft Office and virtual platforms.

Supporting the efforts of families in caring for and strengthening their children’s mental and physical development, and overall well-being

Helping families learn and practice strategies to support their child’s positive behavior.

Assisting the family to implement strategies recommended by clinicical team.

Facilitate communication between families and clinical team; ensure families are comfortable with with treatment plans
