Staff Process Safety Jobs

At least 6 years of engineering experience or technical experience in manufacturing operations is required.

Prior experience working in FDA environment preferred.

Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

Identifies, plans and executes major projects involved with process improvement.

Designs and leads experimental protocols using statistical tools to determine process response to controllable factors.

Identifies key opportunities to develop and implement equipment and/or process enhancements that will improve efficiency, product yield and safety.

Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering, Safety, Process Safety Management or similar technical field

Provide training on PSM and RMP requirements to new employees and refresher training to existing employees at the Fresno Plant.

Manages and leads incident investigations and root cause analysis (RCA) as needed.

Provides support to plant engineering in improving their safety competency and skillsets.

5 years of Process Safety Experience

Manager of Process Safety Management,

· Assists and may lead in the development of multi-year capital, reliability and asset management plans.

· High-level project management, interpersonal communications and critical thinking ability required.

· Supports, coaches and develops talents and capabilities of junior PSM staff members.

· Manages company standards and/or facility programs for preventive maintenance, reliability and "up-time" of refrigeration systems.

· Maintain and update knowledge base on compliance and technical aspects of ammonia refrigeration systems.

Computer Skills: Minitab, python, MATLAB experience a plus. Creo knowledge experience a plus.

Knowledge of process optimization / automation, robotics, and / or composite material material surface prep.

Knowledge of material testing equipment, techniques, data collection and analysis, and statistical evaluation. Weibull life analysis is a plus

Extensive experience working with or in Quality Assurance

Aviation experience is preferred, but not required ( FAA part 23 or 25 aircraft materials)

Robot programming experience is a plus.

Develop and implement technology strategy, roadmap and manage tracking its implementation.

Proactively identify technical requirements and value creation opportunities in the area of specialization.

Participate in the development/review of training requirements, modules and conduct training in the area of specialization.

Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline
