Familiar with change management process and tools

Conducts threat and vulnerability risk assessments to determine security requirements and proactively fix security flaws and vulnerabilities.

Regular contact with internal and external customers and contractor representatives involved with LAN/WAN design, network implementation, and network management.

Conducts analysis of security requirements and controls to identify gaps and provides recommendations of industry best practices, trends, and technology products.

Implements, manages, and enforces electronic information security directives in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

At least one professional information security certification required (CCNA-Security, CISSP, CISM,CRISC, and/or SANS GIAC).

Professional certifications; CISSP, CISM, & CCNP.

Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills

Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Senior level technical certification or equivalent (CISSP, CCSP, MCSA) with demonstrated relevant experience

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

Demonstrate strong meeting facilitation, spoken and written communication skills, lead productive discussions, and drive consensus working with technical, and business stakeholders

At least 12 years of Information Security architecture, project, and engineering experience and at least 10 years with a large organization

Installs, configures and maintains Cisco Firepower Management Center, ManageEngine Operation Manager, Microsoft Certificate services and SSL Certificate management.

Reviews facility bandwidth requirements and system interdependencies.

Conduct an in-depth security analysis of computer networks and identify any vulnerabilities or gaps in the system.

Assesses network performance to ensure that it meets the present and future needs; analyzes facility bandwidth requirements and system interdependencies.

Manage risk and ensure disaster recovery in case of a security event.

Maintains and implements VMware Site Recovery Manager and VMware Replication.

Strong self-starting and time-management skills

Manage firewall configurations within the SpaceX enterprise network based on operational requirements

Manage and maintain network security systems by applying system patches and other periodic maintenance tasks

Experience with securing networks, IT infrastructure, applications, endpoints, and/or APIs

Experience hardening Windows, MacOS, and/or Linux operating systems

Experience testing and implementing changes in a production environment

Experience with PCI and PCI DSS compliance activities participating in sessions with internal compliance teams ensuring zero deviations and vulnerabilities

Participate in the design, lifecycle management, and total cost of ownership of network security appliances, applications, and services

Business Continuity and Capacity Management

Communicating and collaboration to executive management and across support teams

Traffic Management on-prem and cloud networks with PCI and PCI DSS

IP Address Management (IPAM), HTTP, DNS, ICMP, FTP, SSH
