REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSURE:
Previous experience in acute care and swallow disorders is preferred but entry-level positions are also available.
Membership or eligibility for membership in the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
Able to instruct students, interns, and other care givers, patients and family members in methods and objectives of speech therapy.
Consults with physicians and other professionals concerning goals, treatment, and outcomes.
Able to assist in the orientation process of other staff.
