Sound Tech Job Description A Sound Tech is responsible for setting up and operating sound equipment for live events, recording sessions, and other audio-related activities. They must be knowledgeable in the use of sound boards, microphones, amplifiers, and other audio equipment. They must also be able to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during a performance or recording session. Sound Tech Job Skills
