Song Leader For Camp Twelve Trails Jobs

A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis

Skid loader, compact excavator, or heavy equipment experience

Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and the internet

Experience with GIS/GPS software and mapping applications

Must obtain basic first aid, CPR, and ATV training and certifications within one year of hire

Two years of prior-related work experience

Experience supervising youth in groups of 8 to 20.

Carries out the goals, themes and schedule of the program to ensure a consistent and high quality experience.

Experience working with youth ranging from 3rd grade to 9th grade in a structured program setting

Appropriate academic background, certification, license or training in specialty area, and

Demonstrable knowledge of sustainable natural surface trail planning, design, and construction best management practices.

Perform and assist with administrative duties involving project management, grant application, budgeting, communication, personnel management, and coordination, and generating reports.

Perform job duties in accordance with Great Parks of Hamilton County’s policies, procedures, and performance expectations.

Knowledge of common trail standards, and condition surveys; hiking, cycling, mountain biking, horseback riding, and general trail maintenance.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Maintain confidentiality of confidential and sensitive information.

Use positive behavior-management techniques with campers.

Participate in weekly meetings with Jewish education staff

Previous experience working with children;

Strong communication and problem solving skills.

Cognitive - For the fellows to take a leading role in teaching Jewish values and content at camp.

Participate and partake in specific training for AWE Fellows.

Must pass the background check, medical tests, fingerprinting through the Department of Health and Department of Education, and other pre-employment requirements.

Create a safe environment while providing a fun experience for the campers.

Have experience with children ages 5+

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SONG LEADER:

Bring a communal song to the morning kick off "Boker Tov" and all Shabbat ceremonies on Friday
