Solids Control Technician Jobs

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three or more years of related experience.

Operate the equipment according to specifications as directed by the Mud Engineer, Drilling Supervisor and/or the DWM Manager

Reports To: Project Manager / Dennis Coogler

Maintaining and operating solids control equipment as per customer specifications (centrifuge, drying shakers, desanders, desilters, etc.)

Troubleshoot and repair of equipment

Assisting with the rigging up and rigging down of solids control equipment

Follows all written procedures, SOPs, cGMP regulations and safety requirements during manufacturing.

Carries out operations with strict adherence to cGMP and OSHA requirements.

Adheres to the established manufacturing schedule for all assigned batches from start to completion.

Assists in the manufacture of pharmaceutical oral dosage products for use in clinical studies.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, LICENSES and, EXPERIENCE:

Must have effective organizational skills

Must be able to travel (drive or fly), to remote locations throughout the United States

Must have basic computer experience using Outlook, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ensure all equipment and systems are being operated to company standards and policies

Minimum of 2 years oil and gas experience

Barite recovery and dewatering experience is a must

Vertical Dryer experience is a plus

Must have effective communication skills

Must have basic computer skills, such as but not limited to (Word, Excel, Time applications)

Communicate with operations supervisors, regional managers, safety department, shop and maintenance employees and clerical staff
