Overview The Solid Waste Program and Data Analyst is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the solid waste program and data analysis. The analyst will work closely with the solid waste program staff, local governments, and other stakeholders to ensure the program is successful and meets the needs of the community. The analyst will also be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data related to the solid waste program. Detailed Job Description
• Develop, implement, and manage the solid waste program, including developing and implementing policies and procedures, coordinating with local governments, and providing technical assistance.
• Collect, analyze, and report data related to the solid waste program, including waste generation, waste composition, and waste diversion.
• Develop and maintain databases and other information systems to track and report on solid waste program activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including local governments, waste haulers, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and implement public education and outreach programs related to the solid waste program.
• Monitor and evaluate the solid waste program to ensure it is meeting the needs of the community.
• Prepare reports and presentations related to the solid waste program.
• Participate in meetings and other events related to the solid waste program.
Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of solid waste management and data analysis

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, public health, or related field
• At least two years of experience in solid waste management or data analysis
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to solid waste management
• Ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders
