Must possess knowledge skills and abilities for position

Assist skilled craftsman measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit

Some solar electrician experience preferred but not required

Knowledge of the safe and efficient use of hand tools, power tools and layout tools.

Learn to Interpret drawings, sketches, software, plans and determines best work procedures, tools, equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems

Must have knowledge of applicable safety rules; use basic tools and care of the tools, knowledgeable of fire protection

Basic knowledge of material nomenclature, assist mechanics in assembly and work performance; demolition; cleaning; removing debris; housekeeping

Industrial construction/maintenance industry experience preferred

Plan, layout, install, and repair wiring, conduit, electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment.

Use of hand electric power tools and pneumatic tools and care for these tools

Building and ground maintenance; handling trash; and assisting in maintenance and construction.

Must possess all Knowledge Skills and Abilities for positions (see below).

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1-2+ years of experience as an Electrical Helper/Apprentice

Must be able to meet all physical requirements.

Must have at least 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrical Helper.

Must have basic knowledge of electrical construction processes.

2+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites

Experience with running/bending Rigid and EMT conduit

Experience working alongside a Journeyman Electrician

Requirements include but aren't limited to:

OSHA 10 preferred but not required

Must be able to meet all physical requirements.

Must have at least 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrical Helper.

Must possess working knowledge skills and abilities for position.

Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.

Interprets drawings, sketches, software, plans and determines best work procedures, tools, equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems

Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks; make terminations

Installs control and distribution apparatus’ and fastens in place

Test and start up systems and continuity of circuit to insure electrical compatibility and safety of components

Minimum of 0 – 2 years’ electrical experience and/or training.

Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures.

May assist in lifting, positioning and securing of materials during installation.

Connects power cables to equipment and installs ground leads.

Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation or replacement.

Load, transports and unload material, tools, equipment and supplies.

Read and comprehend Safety Rules and Policies and MSDS sheets Qualifications

An apprentice electrician demonstrates safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment.

Installing electrical equipment - switchgear, panels, and starters

Pulling and terminating wire Installing light fixtures

Installation of all types of devices

Must have transportation to work

Must have basic knowledge of the construction processes involved in heavy industrial construction.

Minimum of 1-4 years’ experience as an Electrician or a similar industrial construction role.

Installing, removal of, and/or modification to; electrical equipment, cable tray (Aluminum and Galvanized), conduit GRC, Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and limited EMT.

Install wiring to electrical motors.

U/G conduit installation and grounding activities.

Read and interpret measuring tools such as, tape measure, speed square, framing square…etc. In order to perform task accurately.
