Soils Lab Technician Jobs

Good oral and written communication skills, including good technical writing capabilities

Ability to use initiative and work independently within the limitations of experience

Knowledge of various exploratory and laboratory techniques

Maintains laboratory equipment and laboratory space in neat order

Assists in logging, storage, and disposal of soil samples

Performs other duties as requested

Keeping the laboratory in compliance with QA/QC initiatives, DOT, AMRL, CCRL, and AASHTO accreditation requirements

0 – 2 years of experience

Performing laboratory tests on construction materials

Preparing reports of test data

Calibrating laboratory equipment and maintaining calibration schedule and records

Assisting with field work and other laboratory functions when needed
