Software Asset Specialist Jobs

May execute on an/or provide oversight for one or more Software or Hardware Asset Management processes

Assist Sourcing and Procurement by executing new asset onboarding functions to ensure proper management of the asset lifecycle, reducing risk

Facilitate the day-to-day "request, receipt, identification, management, and withdrawal " of IT managed Service Assets (Hardware and Software)

6-10 years of direct or indirect exposure to Service Management Service Asset & Configuration, Release, Change, Incident and Problem Management.

Strong detailed understanding of the IT Service Management lifecycle

Client work authorization requirements: US Citizen or GC holder. Also, must be W2 hourly, client does not allow C2C.

BA/BS Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

8+ years of experience in leading IT / Software asset management program and tools. 4+ years leadership experience.

Knowledge of Flexera Software asset management tool a plus.

Legal background or experience in contract management.

Manage enterprise wide On-prem and SaaS software licenses through Flexera Software asset management tool.

Responsible for the governance (contractual compliance) and management of all aspects of the license management function throughout the software asset lifecycle.

3+ years of related digital asset management experience, preferably in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), an agency or in-house.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Adobe Analytics (or similar) experience

Experience in managing digital assets for an organization producing a large volume of work.

Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey messages in a clear, concise, and simple manner.

Experience with asset tagging and taxonomy.

Partner with dispatchers and fleet managers to plan and carry out shipping operations

2 years of experience in dispatch or related roles

Previous logistics dispatch/scheduling experience preferred

Knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft and logistics application software

Excellent personal skills and positive attitude

Salary range for this position is $55,600 - $69,600 based upon experience.

Requirements for the Operations Asset Specialist:

• Real Estate experience is a PLUS

• Intermediate MS Excel skills

• General accounting and AP knowledge required

Strong Knowledge of and experience with domain administration (Active Directory, group policies, etc.)

Knowledge of and experience with operating system administration (registry, permissions, etc.)

Skilled knowledge of database systems, Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Microsoft Server usage and language (read, understand SQL scripts) DBA background preferred.

Facilitate overall asset management and flow

Manage special projects as needed

Prior experience working with digital assets

Experience in program/project management methodology, process design, and financial modeling, with a track record of achieving results and meeting deadlines.

Experience in implementing process improvements and project management practices.

Recommending mature technology category management practices across Verizon and enhancing processes to standardize and maintain North Star Architecture.

Experience in/ CSAM and CAMP certifications.

Bachelor’s degree or four more years of experience.

Six or more years of relevant work experience.

A minimum of 2 years work experience in a Post-Production / Media Management environment.

Functional working experience with Avid Media Composer, and Adobe Creative Suite is required.

Functional knowledge of file encoding/transcoding and delivery systems.

Strong organizational, communication, and written skills.

Evaluate, ingest, and troubleshoot digital media assets into our centralized Avid Nexis / Interplay environment.

Research and implement new ingest/export methods and new file types are acquired.

Experience tracking customer hardware or software asset information using tools such as Peoplesoft, Cherwell, SNOW, etc.

Experience providing customer service in an office environment (e.g., providing information, answering questions, resolving issues, etc.).

Experience working with vendors to obtain quotes on technology assets.

Experience facilitating the reporting of assets including performing asset compliance.

Experience coordinating software license processes (e.g., coordinating license purchases and renewals, preparing license disposition reports, making recommendations on license optimization, etc.)
