Educate parents in basic child development and behavioral management techniques.

Provides feedback to parents and foster parents regarding effects of child-rearing and child management practices used by each.

Manages the coordination of child and family team meetings at the designated intervals according to policy.

Enhances the client\'s problem-solving skills using role modeling, advising, instructing, and reinforcing positive behavior to prevent out of home placement.

Assesses children and parent\'s problem-solving skills.

This position also conducts assessments and participates routinely in the on call rotation.

An equivalent combination of education and experience

Bachelor\'s degree from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of directly related experience; or

There is a significant case assignment of families with children needing day care for reasons of employment and/or training.

Other requests may come for reasons of child protective services, child welfare services, or developmental needs.

Care may be purchased from one of several private centers or home-based care chosen by the caretaker of the child.
