Overview:

A 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods and materials in a warehouse environment. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be able to lift and move heavy items.

Detailed Job Description:

The 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member is responsible for the following duties:

• Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.
• Load and unload trucks and other vehicles.
• Count, weigh, and record number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials and items.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
