Rn Shift Manager Psych Jobs in Florida

Two years experience in the acute psychiatric setting preferably psych ED preferred

Current State of Florida Registered Nurse license required. Current BLS card from American Heart Association required

Provide diagnostic psychiatric evaluation and ongoing psychiatric medication management, under supervision of the Medical Director.

Provide psychiatric case management support to Clinical, Psychology, and Neurocognitive team members.

Initiate appropriate evaluation and emergency management for all psychiatric emergency situations.

Main Duties & Responsibilities :

Conduct patient psychiatric/medical teaching consistent with Legacy’s program description and approved policies and procedures.

Prescribe, monitor, and teach patients the use of medications according to approved medication regimens and protocols.
